Job Description:

The ACS Group is a privately held company that designs and manufactures one of the most comprehensive lines of auxiliary products for the plastics processing industry. The ACS Group maintains an expansive product line, which includes size reduction equipment (granulators and shredders), material conveying equipment, metering and blending devices, heat exchangers (mold temperature control units and chillers), drying systems, and presses.
 
ACS Group has manufacturing facilities in New Berlin, Wisconsin and Wabash, Indiana with a third facility located in Suzhou, China to handle the needs of the Asian market. Our corporate headquarters is located in New Berlin.

The Sr. Product Manager provides leadership across all functional areas of the company for his or her assigned products.  This includes product strategies, new product development, product life-cycle management, pricing, marketing plans, profitability and sales growth.​

A successful candidate will be responsible for: 


  • Providing product leadership for assigned products within the company

  • Developing and executing product line roadmaps and product strategy

  • Managing product line pricing

  • Improving product line profitability and growing sales

  • Supporting product line sales forecasts (S&OP process)

  • Identifying new product opportunities and providing strong direction to new product development teams.

  • Manage the full product life cycle

  • Developing the technical content for sales tools and collateral

  • Establish the content and cadence for value-based selling of ACS products – train the RSMs and Reps

  • Establish the strategy for penetration, growth, and profitability in new markets (Thermoforming, Extrusion, Recycling, and others).

A qualified candidate will be passionate, dedicated, and possess these basic requirements:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Business, MBA strongly preferred

  • 10+ years Marketing and/or Product Management experience with a technical product line

  • Business Leadership demonstrated in the ability to create, articulate, and execute strategy and critical business initiatives.

  • NPD Leadership demonstrated in the ability to lead multiple and complex NPD programs from concept through successful launch.

  • Strong Financial Acumen demonstrated by an in-depth understanding of financial return on investment, margin contribution, and pricing.

  • Proficient in Microsoft® Office® suite

  • Experience working with complex, configured, engineered product lines

  • Plastics industry product experience is a plus

  • Knowledge of ERP and configurator systems is a plus

  • Travel up to 25%
