Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Finance. CPA preferred
Two to five years’ experience in manufacturing, retail or distribution industries
Proven proficiency in Excel, Power Point, and Word
Excellent interpersonal skills including ability and desire to work with all levels of management
Ability to work in a global environment with issues including FX and financial reporting requirements
Strong GAAP and IFRS knowledge
Experience with general ledger activity
Experience with inventory control
Monitoring inventory levels at multiple locations
Creating and executing inventory control procedures and systems.
Conducting audits and providing information to external auditors
Experience tracking Capital expenditures
Experience streamlining accounting processes
Highly dependable with excellent work attendance record
Detail-oriented with excellent accuracy
Ability to be discrete and protect the integrity of confidential information
Ability to prioritize, organize, and handle multiple tasks
Proactive and work with minimal supervision
Ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze and review with department heads financial reports including actual results, forecast, and budgets
Perform account reconciliations for assigned balance sheet and expense accounts
Ad hoc projects and reports requested by various levels of management
Prepare journal entries for posting
Account analysis
Month-end close procedures
Capital project management and ROI evaluation
Other duties as assigned

Ability to sit at a desk for periods of time
Ability to work in an open office environment
Ability to walk or stand for short periods
EXPECTED HOURS
Availability to work 8 hours per day and additional overtime hours Monday - Friday
Availability to start work before regular shift and remain after shift
