Summary
Meets customer order requirements by cutting and assembling various materials. Candidate must be a detail-oriented problem solver and a positive team player.
Responsibilities

Perform Welding duties using TIG Welders and MIG Welders.
Weld thin gauge Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel components with welding equipment as specified by layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions.
Welding and polishing of round and square SS Tubing.
Set-up's, laying out work using jigs/fixtures or hand layouts to fabricate parts and/or rework finished products.
Inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet product specifications.
Read, understand, and follow job order specifications, engineering drawings, and/or work orders.
Willingness to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned position.
Inspect and maintain functional equipment.
Have a strong eye for detail to recognize weld deviation and heat transfers at all times.
Complete Work Orders, as assigned, and on time, to meet company production goals.
Welding equipment, industrial tools and surrounding area should be regularly cleaned and maintained.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Competencies
Ability to understand welding symbols and diagrams, read blueprints, and/or other printed instructional material in the welding of products or parts
Experience working with sanitary/ food grade stainless steel. Have good math skills and experience with tooling and gauges
Proficient with the use of measurement instruments: micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, etc.
Be able to manage time and priorities with minimal guidance
