Job Description:
Basic Job Functions:
The Operational Lead will lead Nucor Coatings safety culture, coach and develop the team, maximize division profits, and coordinate all operational activities with the operations and maintenance teams. The Operational Lead plays a pivotal role in our organization and is crucial to Growing the Core, Expanding Beyond, and Living our Culture.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of operational experience
Preferred Qualifications:

Proven ability to lead a team

Skilled in coaching and developing highly motivated and proficient technicians

2 years in coating or steel industry
