Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the physician-led multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children's Health System, and Nicklaus Children's Hospital, a 307-bed freestanding children's hospital and ACS-verified Level 1 pediatric trauma center, are seeking a BC/BE Adolescent Medicine fellowship trained specialist.
The NCPS Section of Adolescent Medicine at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital is committed to providing high quality, comprehensive and confidential care to teens. It offers programs dedicated to gender, substance abuse, behavioral issues and pediatric gynecology. Job Summary
The position is primarily a clinical position related to the diagnosis, treatment and clinical management of pediatric patients in a multidisciplinary environment that includes physicians, nurses, advanced practice providers, clinical scientists and social workers. The position offers exposure to a mix of general and high acuity pediatric patients. The position also includes teaching and supervision of medical residents and provides opportunities to participate in research and publishing.
