This is an exciting opportunity within the Energy and Transportation business resources procurement team. In this role, you will be an essential partner with the Senior Manager FP&A and Vice President of procurement and direct reports. This role primarily supports the material cost variance analysis and forecasting process.

What You Will Do:

  • Support Energy and Transportation center of excellence team and procurement directors in analyzing and communicating material cost variance
  • Greatly support the forecasting initiatives for material cost
  • Get exposure to division CFOs and group CFOs in various meetings
  • Partner with the business, through providing meaningful and timely insights & analysis, to understand results and drive improved financial performance
  • Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures providing guidance to others in the business
  • Drive standardization, simplification and efficiencies in finance processes
  • Serve as the subject matter expert within Energy and Transportation for the purchase price variance module within the PROcure system
What You Have:

  • Finance and Accounting: Knowledge of finance and accounting practices, financial analysis, and reporting; ability to apply finance knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Organizational Governance: Knowledge of the processes, customs, policies, and rules affecting the way the organization is administered and controlled; ability to ensure compliance with governance guidelines and policies.
  • Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
  • Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
  • Financial Forecasting and Modeling: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques of financial forecasting and modeling; ability to explore and evaluate alternative financial scenarios and results.
Top Candidates Will Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in an Accounting or Finance related discipline
  • Progressive Accounting or Finance related experience
  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent
  • Power BI experience
Additional Info:
  • The location for this position is in Mossville, IL
  • This role is a full time, Hybrid position and currently requires 3 days a week in office
  • Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify
  • Sponsorship is not available
  • International and Domestic travel up to 5%
