Basic Job Functions:




TheEHS Administrator will work with the safety and environmental department to provide administrative support to the division for all matters pertaining to safety and environmental compliance, environmental management systems, and safety databases. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to promoting and driving a safe work culture, maintaining EHS systems and processes as well as EHS records including but not limited to training, incidents and accidents, inspections, and audits. Additionally, this position may also be required to administer EHS department policies and process documents in alignment with company record keeping and document control standards. This position will also be required to participate in community outreach events and conduct employee training on an as needed basis. This position reports to the Safety Director.




Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.





Minimum Qualifications:

• 
  Degree in related field OR minimum of 3 years of related experience in an Environmental, Health, or Safety position
  


• 
  Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience
  

• 
  Experience developing, conducting and tracking of safety training
  


• 
  Experience with Microsoft Office
  


• 
  Experience with XML
