Job Title: RN - ED - Emergency Department



Duties & Responsibilities: The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) provides rapid assessment and comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with urgent and emergent medical conditions in the emergency department (ED). The ER RN collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to stabilize patients, initiate treatment interventions, and facilitate timely disposition based on patient needs. This is a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED), a state-of-the-art facility that manages more than 100,000 visits a year and is one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. It is the only Level I trauma hospital in the area. Responsible for treating a diverse patient population. Will assist with boarder patients.



Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years ED experience


• RN license (NY only)


• Tele experience required


• must have previous travel ER experience


• BLS (AHA)


• ACLS (AHA)


• 3 12 hour shifts (D/E/N rotating shift schedules)


• Weekends/Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per unit needs


• ER is not able to support first time travelers
