About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking Cloud Data Platform Product Management - Lead Data Management Analyst within Data Management & Insight (DMI). This position will lead and deliver functionality within our Enterprise Cloud Data Platforms team as an Agile Product Owner. Will be responsible for implementing & supporting the data product vision & strategy, engaging partners/users to refine requirements, prioritize and handle backlog of scrum teams and support IT/business partners to ensure alignment with the data transformation journey.

This critical role will engage and communicate regularly with various program leaders including internal IT development teams, Engineering Managers, Designers, and Internal Audit and Controls. This role will also serve as the team's key point to orchestrate, communicate, and organize work efforts associated with delivering specific data management capabilities on Cloud at Wells Fargo.

In this role, you will:
  • Ensure end-to-end requirements are gathered and well-understood from various partner groups that can span from Wells Fargo Technology (WFT), Data Management & Insights (DMI), LOBs, Enterprise Architecture; then partner & build a roadmap for the data products. This includes identifying the various personas, corresponding user journey maps, work with other teams to translate these into tangible requirements/EPICs.
  • Author requirements, epics, user stories, tasks and timelines aligned with user/customer/market needs and in agreement with scrum team; ensures stories meet the "definition of ready" criteria.
  • Co-Lead sprint team ceremonies including daily stand ups, planning sessions with squads and work with the team to decompose stories into development tasks.
  • Prioritize the book of work for 2-3 agile IT development teams, balancing non-functional and functional improvements, required end of life / end of support upgrades and bug fixes.
  • Negotiate and prioritize items in Product Backlog that solves technical/financial/operational risk, accelerates team learning, achieves expected outcomes, and optimizes the value of the work performed.
  • Identify risks and dependencies and issues early and actively seek for respective mitigations.
  • Ensure compliance with established guidelines for accurate and timely project delivery.

  • Ensure quantifiable and qualitative benefits are identified and committed by the business partners.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 3+ years gathering business requirements from various sources including end-users and stakeholders.
  • 3+ years of Agile experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Cloud technologies
  • 2+ year of product strategy development experience
  • 2 + years of experience creating and implementing strategic plans and roadmaps at the executive level for enterprise-wide business initiatives
  • 1+ year of experience using data and analytics to inform and develop risk mitigation strategies.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in banking or wealth management industry
  • BS/BA degree or higher
  • Experience creating and implementing product plans and roadmaps.
  • Experience with Data Platform technologies
  • Experience in consulting industry with implementing data platforms (On Prem and Cloud)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility and collaboration, and adaptability are important.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills and outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to organize, manage multiple priorities and achieve results.
  • Ability to translate and present complex data in a manner that educates, enhances understanding, and influence decisions.
