Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Durham, NC that is seeking an Angular/NGINX/Apache Web Server Developer.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate and swarm with your aligned squads to design and develop on the latest tech stack, leading some initiatives and teaming on others


• Understand, absorb, and/or ensure reusable documentation of best practices and processes - without requiring re-learning of the same concepts


• Keep up to date with the latest technologies and frameworks, and help others to do so proactively

REQUIREMENTS:

• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience


• Experience with NGINX and Apache Web Servers


• Experience with Angular/TypeScript


• Experience with Docker containerization


• Exposure to AWS-based deployment and DevOps


• Unit Testing creation familiarity (JUnit, Mockito, Karma/Jasmine)


• Advanced communication, problem-solving, and active learning skills


• Equally apt to working independently and swarming


• Ability to be a self-starter and ramp up quickly, being mentored by other technologists formally and informally

Nice to Haves:

• Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment


• Experience with Java and Spring/SpringBoot


• Experience with REST web services


• Experience with HTML/CSS


• Experience with Jenkins and Jenkins pipeline construction


• Experience with working with UDeploy, Artifactory, Sonar, ServiceNow

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
