The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Dickson is accepting applications for a second full-time position of Associate Instructor in the Heating, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (HAC/R) Technology program at the Clarksville Campus. This is a grant-funded position.

GENERAL DUTIES
: The Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology Associate Instructor is responsible for providing individualized theory and hands-on instruction, in conjunction with an additional full-time instructor, to high school and adult students to prepare them to become HVAC/R technicians. Areas of instruction include, but are not limited to: print reading, basic electronics, pneumatics, math, programmable controllers, refrigerant containment certification and heat pump technology. The Associate Instructor must monitor, grade and evaluate individual student progress; maintain student records in the college's student records management software; maintain appropriate documentation; submit timely reports; create and maintain lesson plans and curriculum, and assist in recruitment of new students and placement of graduates. The Associate Instructor must also maintain good public relations with business and industry, maintain an active advisory committee and cooperate with outside agencies. This position will also supervise and follow-up on students participating in cooperative education. Some travel is required. This position is full-time and reports to the Director of the Clarksville Campus. Scheduled work hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Scheduled class hours are 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Instruction is delivered in-person.
SALARY: $55,157-$66,188 annually ($28.29-$33.94 per hour). Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines and directly related experience.
