Position Overview:
We are seeking an inspiring, strategic, and results-driven Executive Director to lead our organization into its next chapter of growth and impact. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a passion for education equity, and a proven track record in non-profit management. As the Executive Director, you will be the chief advocate, fundraiser, and visionary, driving our mission forward and ensuring the sustainability and expansion of our programs.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director (ED) will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for Reading In Motion's (RIM) staff, programs, expansion, and execution of its mission. Lead the day-to-day management of the property and affairs of the organization, and develop deep knowledge of the field, core programs, operations, and business plans.

Analytical - Ability to leverage ERP to drive efficiencies in day-to-day operations. Fluent in KPIs and operational/performance monitoring to enable a data-driven strategy and operational program. Leads SLT and staff in leveraging technology to streamline operations and drive strategic insights to guide the organization.
Financial Acumen - Demonstrates a broad understanding of financial management principles to direct organizational actions. Sets organizational priorities by aligning organizational finances with strategic goals.
Qualifications: The ED will be thoroughly committed to RIM's mission. The ED should have proven leadership, coaching, and relationship management experience.
Reading In Motion is a FULLY REMOTE WORK ENVIRONMENT with an expectation for the Executive Director to travel to Chicago, Las Vegas, and other RIM locations throughout the year.
