Serves as the point of contact for the Clemson Alumni and Visitors Center content management system. Coordinates with building tenants to create, maintain and schedule digital content. Develops policies for governing content, placement, and media design for the digital signage. Other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
40% - Essential - Content Management: Serves as content manager for building CMS and digital displays within Alumni and Visitors Center. Coordinates with tenants to obtain, schedule, and approve content for video boards digital displays in the building. Works in conjunction with campus partners to plan and develop content scheduling processes.
40% - Essential - Content Creation: Has the ability to take content in various formats or create new content using visual communications software that is built to specification for digital display needs in the building. Designs graphics, animations and video content as needed for strategic initiatives and events, coordinating closely with Advancement and Admissions partners.
10% - Essential - Policy and Process Development: Coordinates creation of strategic policies including content style guides, required static and non-static content formats and specifications, content scheduling processes. Operates within university project management system to field content requests and to traffic content for approval to campus partners.
5% - Essential - Technical Support: Supports tenants and visitors of the Alumni and Visitors Center as the expert on CMS software and digital display hardware with any needed technical support or troubleshooting. Works closely with CCIT and/or external partners for advance technical support as needed.
5% - Essential - Analytics: Working in CMS system to develop analytics and metrics on interactions and/or views to examine effectiveness and efficiency of digital content.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education - Bachelor's Degree
Work Experience: 2+ years working in video, graphics and/or technology area
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Prefer Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Premier Pro Certifications in technical support and/or customer service.
