Big Bend Electric Cooperative Inc. is seeking a GIS Specialist for our Ritzville, WA location.

Job Description
- Manage and update point and line data for various electrical assets, including transformers, poles, fuses, and meters.
- Facilitate nightly exports of GIS data to support Accounting, Billing, Engineering, and Outage Management.
- Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to refine GIS data applications and outputs.
- Perform field audits as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, GIS, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of two (2) years of relevant GIS experience in a similar position.
Beneficial Knowledge
Proficient with Microsoft Office, SQL Server, ESRI, AutoCAD, or similar GIS software; Ability to write SQL queries and perform data manipulation tasks; Experience using NISC software or quick adaptability to new software environments; Three (3) plus years of electric utility experience; Familiar with Python or other scripting language.
