Academic Req: Required - Bachelor's degree in education or a related field;


Preferred - Graduate degree from accredited program/institution


Certifications: First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention


Work experience: Required - Four (4) to six (6) years of related experience and/or training;


Preferred - Six (6) plus years of related experience and/or training Full-Time


Critical Action Items & Measurable Deliverables: 1. Work collaboratively with Director of Educational Services, Director of Infancy and Early Childhood Services, LT, LSYSW, and shelter program administration to develop, implement, and monitor all aspects of shelter program life skills curriculum. 2. Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards that are applicable to this position. 3. Participate in scheduled meetings and team decisions and operations. 4. Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed or requested by supervisor. 5. Implement Compass Connections safety protocols including evacuating with children and other staff in case of an emergency. 6. Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the service population and program operations. 7. Maintain Compass Connections professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in Compass Connections employee handbook including demonstrating respect for agency staff, children, and community members and complying with required dress code at all times.
