Volt is immediately hiring a Receipt Inspector- Fabrication/Construction for a Local Leading organization in Los Alamos, New Mexico.

As a Receipt Inspector you will:

• Participate in implementing the company quality control program and assure conformance to the applicable quality requirements.
• Inspect incoming purchased materials and verify conformance with specifications and procurement documents.
• Ensure purchased items are handled and stored in accordance with project procedures, and that only accepted items are issued to the field for installation.
• Manage material inventory counts.
• Evaluate items for Suspect/Counterfeit item indications.
• Receive, review, and handle associated documentation for conformance and generate submittals per project specification requirement.
• Identify nonconforming items and report to the Quality Manager or take otherwise appropriate action.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and contact suppliers directly when needed.
• Complete Receipt Inspection Reports and prepare for submission to the project.

Receipt Inspector Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration.

• Minimum 2 years combined experience in Quality Control and construction preferred.
• Active CWI is required.
• Knowledge of Quality Improvements and how the theories of quality are translated into action.
• Ability to interface with wide range of internal and external personnel to establish and accomplish objectives
• Quality systems concepts, practices, policies and procedures
• Proficiency with MS Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

This is a Full time Temp to Hire opportunity with a Monday-Friday 7am - 4pm Schedule

Pay for this position starts at $29.00 per hour
