Job Description:

Salary/Position Classification


  • 15.00 Hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)

  • 8-10 hrs/week hours per week

  • 100% Remote Work Availability: Yes

  • Hybrid Work Availability: No


Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefitted position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired into this position. Unsolicited applications to this position will NOT be considered.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist students in the understanding of course material

  • Identify strengths and areas of improvement regarding the content of the coursework and student habits

  • Answer student questions and guiding them through class assignments


Required Competencies

  • Exhibit a service-oriented attitude by focusing on helping students succeed in their course, treating students with respect, showing patience, and keeping student's information confidential

  • Strong interpersonal and professional communication


Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

  • Demonstrate good study skills and work habits

  • Complete tutor training in compliance with CRLA certification

  • Understanding of course material, evidenced by a minimum grade of B in the graduate level Anatomy and Muscle Function classes

  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
