Schedule: M-F 8am-4pm. Must be flexible.






ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:




  • Tracks and records incoming and outgoing plant supplies, ingredients, packaging materials, and maintenance items.



  • Coordinates the weekly shipping schedule for UPS, FedEx, and inbound/outbound appointments.



  • Prepares bulk and shred samples, packaging and other items for shipment



  • Provides customer services as needed. Assists truck drivers, dispatchers, and brokers as needed.



  • Follows return procedures to organize supplies, ingredients, packaging materials, maintenance items return.



  • Loads/unloads trucks and puts items away with forklift and/or pallet jack.



  • Delivers items to appropriate departments.



  • Prepares and organizes outbound & inbound paperwork.



  • Completes computer data entry for product moves. (SAP, ARIBA, spreadsheets)



  • ARIBA - Receive all non-inventoried items into Ariba - Nelson Jameson, clothing, sleeves gloves, booties, hairnets, etc



  • SAP - Ship samples on Sales orders, ships boxes film, labels to pother plants and returns



  • SAP - receive all chemicals, all packaging materials (boxes, film, labels, slip sheets), all ingredients (starter, NFDM, salt, chardex, oregano, etc) , make tags for all items and put on product



  • Raw materials Spreadsheet - enters all ingredients for QA tracking and an to make sure on approved list for use at Waupun.



  • Performs general clerical duties to include filing, faxing and creating and revising spreadsheets.



  • Prepares and verifies load/inspection sheets.



  • Prepares and distributes UPS/FedEx items incoming and outgoing



  • Prepares and organizes all paperwork.



  • Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail.



  • Demonstrates initiative and strong interpersonal, communication, and team skills.



  • Demonstrates safe and quality conscious work habits and follows all company policies and procedures.



  • Focuses on Saputo's goals and objectives and considers the best interest of Saputo and its employees and customers while performing job duties.



  • Demonstrates professionalism and positively represents and promotes Saputo at all times.

  • Maintains confidentiality.

  • Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance

  • Employees are responsible for understanding and complying with the Current Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety guidelines to ensure that quality food products are manufactured in a sanitary production environment and delivered with superior protection to our customers and consumers.



  • Overtime as required.

  • Enters orders and assists with customer order changes.

  • Prepares Bills of Lading for outside storage.

  • Tracks storage loads.

  • Coordinates freight dock appointments and maintains accurate records for both docks.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned. (However, some may become primary).

  • Supports Saputo's commitment to preserve the environment by following all established policies and procedures related to such preservation. Reports any identified concerns regarding potential hazards to the environment.



POSITION REQUIREMENTS:




  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two or more years of related experience and/or training.

  • Ability to be forklift certified



  • Able to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate with plant employees, managers, supervisors, truck drivers, and trucking company personnel.

Math Ability:


  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute percents

Reasoning Ability:


  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:


  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheet software, Inventory and Manufacturing software.
