Job Description:

The E-commerce Specialist is responsible for the daily management and improvement of online sales on the Shopify Plus webstores. This role will support the Ecommerce Manager with the maintenance and optimization of the data/product experience for webstores, all while embodying a goal of ensuring a seamless customer experience and optimizing the product listings and website functionality.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the company's Shopify websites and Google Merchant Center listings.
Monitor website performance through regular quality assessments - promptly addressing any technical issues or bugs.
Manage product listings, update pricing, and descriptions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Support the team in planning and executing online promotions and campaigns.
Prepare regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of online strategies.
Work closely with and complete tasks assigned by the Ecommerce Manager.
Lead content strategy, perform keyword research, and create regular SEO-friendly blog posts.
Review and update website as needed, including creative, copy, navigation, announcement bars or homepage layouts.
Help as needed with email marketing automations and campaigns.


Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree preferred in Marketing, Business, Ecommerce or related field.

Equivalent experience will be considered

Proven experience in Ecommerce product management, content optimization, and best practices
Understanding of Ecommerce platforms, to include, but not limited to:

Shopify Plus
SEMRush
OmniSend/Klaviyo

Proficiency in Ecommerce management, content management systems, and digital marketing tools.
Familiarity with online sales and digital marketing trends.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
Strong attention to detail
Effective communication and collaboration skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

Rithum (Channel Advisor) experience.
Creation of engaging and informative product content, including images, blog posts, collection copy, product descriptions, and product specifications.
Creativity and an eye for user-friendly design
Proficiency with online tools such as:

GA4

Google Merchant Center

Google Search Console

Collaboration with Web Development and IT team for platform improvements and enhancements.
Implementation of strategies to increase customer retention and loyalty.
Monitoring and analysis of campaigns to make data-driven improvements.
Utilization of web analytics tools to track online sales performance, KPIs, and user behavior.
Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimizations.
Identify opportunities for growth and innovation in the online sales space.
Run technical SEO Websites and make improvements based on results
Review website search functionality for optimization opportunities
Stay up to date with industry best practices and bring new ideas for ways to improve conversion rates, AOV, email automations, the customer experience, website functionality and more.
