Job Description:

Position Purpose:



Support the Program Manager in coordination and completion of all marketing communications for Auxiliary Axle Systems, including media research, marketing analysis and planning, advertising, digital and video content, promotional collateral, trade show coordination and other related marketing communication activities. Assist with additional management of key marketing plans, marketing analysis and reports, sales analysis and reports supporting product development.



Essential Functions:



• Assist in the development of all product related promotional material including but not limited to sales literature, sales ads and advertising layouts, marketing brochures, technical bulletins, application guides and owner's manuals, product specification sheets, product presentations, website content and website analytics, etc.


• Assist in managing marketing programs, developing metrics, reporting trends including but not limited to competitive landscape and market share analysis, media reviews and announcements, web searches and analytics, sales history and trend analysis, market surveys and market data analytics.


• Function as the liaison between the Marketing and Product Engineering departments to successfully initiate and implement changes to technical and promotional material as required to support product development.


• Assist product promotions with presentations, trade show advertising and scheduling, on-site training, product information, customer visits and other activities as required.


• Develop and maintain customer and competitor market-based informational databases and other related content supporting market reporting and product development activities.


• Support new and current product initiatives by assisting with development and execution of product launch strategies and product promotions.


• Oversee all aspects of assigned promotional deliverables, track development and progress, keep Program Manager inform of status to ensure all requirements are delivered on-time.


• Assist Program Manager on writing product announcements, product updates, and product ads, including the management of and distribution of all materials.


• Provide consistent intra-company communication supporting project management, sales, customer service, technical service and product engineering related activities.


• Lead cross-functional teams in support of product development, planning and forecasting activities. Participate in other project team management activities as needed.


• Monitor and assess daily sales requirements by product line, supporting the assessment of capacity and constraints to meet order commitments. Perform daily/weekly/monthly reporting supporting product forecasting, planning and production.



Minimum Qualifications



• 3 to 4 years transportation industry or industrial marketing experience


• Engineered products experience


• Mechanical aptitude, detailed oriented


• Sales/Marketing experience


• Sales/Marketing research, data analysis and reporting experience


• Computer literate with Windows environment required


• Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Power BI skills required


• Strong editing, copywriting and proofreading skills required


• Additional computer literate skills with marketing related software desired



Physical Demands



• Constant movement of hands, wrists, or fingers such as typing, filing, and writing


• Light to moderate travel as required


• Frequent sitting, work at computer for extended periods of time

• Minimal exposure to R&D lab and manufacturing setting
