This position is responsible for ensuring that team members are trained in standard work for hourly production position, while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Using Standard Work Instructions, train team members on safe practices, quality attributes, and production techniques
Understand the process workflow, production environment, quality specifications and processing procedures for the facility
Maintains accurate records on log sheets and in a computer-based system
Train team members to understand how to read and follow production schedule
Train, track, and monitor trainees to assure quality of work and progression towards qualification and report any concerns to supervisor immediately.
Track tardiness, absenteeism, trainee availability, and termination of trainees
Observes behavior of trainees while performing job and responds to potential problems towards the qualification process, and to ensure team member safety
Create/assist a variety of documents including Reasonable Job Expectations, Standard Work, and various training materials
Ability to assist Team Members while developing and maintaining positive professional relationships
Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor
Comply with all safety, food safety, quality and GMP requirements
Must be able to perform all production jobs.
Requirements:
Ability to flex/grip with wrists/hands
Walking, bending, standing and some lifting, up to 50 lbs.
Communicate with various departments on a regular basis
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Requires basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint
Ability to learn Poka application, and utilize this app for team member OJT
Documented and verifiable education (teaching)/training experience required.
