Weekdays (6:00 am -2:30 pm Monday-Friday)
Position Summary
This position is responsible for the movement of products in and out of the Sterilization facilities. Involves manipulating pallets and moving them via a forklift.
Key Responsibilities
- Physically restacking pallets for outbound shipments
- Verification of products, lots and quantities via a Sterilization control document
- Loads outbound trailers
- The routing of products/pallets to the designated areas
- Inspection of products for damages
- Product lot verification via the High Jump Inventory Management system
- Complete JDE & SAP transactions
- Control the flow of pallets on the dock
- Ability to cross train various positions within the Sterilization faculties
- Ensures all assigned duties are safely completed in a timely manner in accordance with department standards and by following department procedures.
- Maintains an acceptable work area as outlined in GMPs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Complete all Master Control and C2C Training at the end of every month.
Educational Qualifications & Previous Experience
- High School education or equivalent..
Professional Skills & Key Competencies
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Must have good basic math skills.
- Ability to solve practical problems.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
- This position works on the warehouse floor.
- The area is subject to wide temperature swings. It is hot in summer (no AC) and cold in winter (very limited heating).
- Ability to work at high volume levels.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Must have good basic math skills.
REASONING ABILITY
- Ability to solve practical problems.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
