Purpose



The Fill Area organization is the final process and facilitates the completion of prescriptions including ordering product, receiving/returning product, accurately entering lots and expiration dates, controlling inventory levels, conducting daily inventory verifications, rectifying inventory discrepancies, quality control, building a rapport with other departments (ie. finance), packaging and shipping of the drugs, supplies, and patient information. Under general direction of the Sr. Manager, Fulfillment & Distribution Pharmacy, this position typically provides day-to-day direction to the Fulfillment Pharmacists, Filling Technicians, and Pharmacy Assistants. The Fulfillment & Distribution Supervisor is a critical leader within the Pharmacy team responsible for ensuring the completion of essential tasks performed by the fulfillment pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities




Leadership



  • Exhibit strong leadership skills that effectively motivate employees to provide outstanding customer service.


  • Instill a culture of going above and beyond to exceed the patient, provider and client expectations.


  • Provide oversight and ongoing management of the Fill Technicians ensuring proper procedures and with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are being followed.


  • Provide day-to-day instruction to team members on job responsibilities.


  • Implement initiatives to support smooth operation of the team


  • Assist team members when needed.


  • Responsible for ordering drugs and supplies for the fulfillment pharmacy.





Quality and Compliance



  • Responsible for the effective implementation of operational and organizational enhancements.


  • Responsible for monitoring and tracking results that focus on improved performance and personnel effectiveness.


  • Provide follow up and resolutions for product complaints (PCs)


  • Possess a strong attention to detail.


  • Assists in ensuring program quality and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs.)


  • Ensure compliance to SOPs, contractual, Federal and State regulatory requirements.





Training and mentoring



  • Trains new and current team members on new drug launches and products added to formulary.


  • Responsible for the development of staff improvement plans that enhance personal and professional development.


  • Identifies individual as well as group training needs and appropriately addresses training gaps.





Minimum Requirements



  • 5+ years pharmacy experience and 1+ years of progressive leadership role or program management experience (preferably within healthcare)


  • Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and PTCB Certification.





Critical Skills





  • Understanding/experience with compliance to SOPs, contractual, Federal and State regulatory requirements.


  • Extensive experience with problem resolutions.


  • Competent in basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications.


  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and work under pressure.

Education



  • High School Diploma or greater.





Working Conditions



  • Fulfillment Pharmacy.


  • Onsite Monday - Friday in our Fort Worth, TX location.

Our Base Pay Range for this position



$57,800 - $96,300
