We are searching for a Financial Planning Associate to grow and develop within our firm.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Financial Planning Associate to join our dynamic team. This position offers a unique blend of community-based ethos and in-depth financial planning experience within a small-firm setting, ideal for professionals with 2-5 years of experience in financial planning or related fields. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in providing comprehensive planning and contributing to our mission of being stewards of wealth and well-being for generations.

Responsibilities:
  1. Client Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and personalized service.
• Assist in client meetings to assess their financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
• Coordinate with Financial Advisor and provide ongoing support and guidance to clients, addressing their

financial concerns and adapting their plans as needed.
• Assist in events/workshops designed for clients and prospects.

2. Financial Planning:
• Gather and analyze financial information, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities, to develop

comprehensive financial plans.
• Assess clients' current financial situations and future needs to develop customized strategies for achieving their

goals.
• Prepare detailed notes of the clients' objectives, risk profile, financial projections, and retirement plans for the

Financial Advisor.
• Draft customized financial plan observations and recommendations for each client case.
• Facilitate the renewal plan process and update plans for meetings with Financial Advisors.

3. Investment Management:
• Research and analyze investment options, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and ETFs.
• Develop and update Investment Policy Statements for clients.
• Communicate with and provide instructions to our trading and operations department.

4. Risk Management and Insurance Planning:
• Evaluate clients' insurance coverage, including life, health, disability, and long-term care insurance, to identify

gaps and draft recommendations for Financial Advisor's review.
• Provide guidance on risk management strategies, such as estate planning, tax planning, and asset protection, to

safeguard clients' wealth and minimize potential risks.

5. Financial Education and Communication:
• Educate clients on financial planning principles, investment strategies, and market trends to empower them to

make informed decisions.
• Assist in the presentation of financial plans to clients in a clear and understandable manner, addressing any

questions or concerns they may have.
• Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, planning software enhancements, and best

practices in financial planning to enhance professional knowledge and expertise.

Candidate Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Financial Planning, Business, or a related field
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in financial planning or wealth management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Experienced in wealth management and financial planning software and tools (i.e., MoneyGuidePro®, Black Diamond, Morningstar, etc.)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
