We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Director of Finance to lead our finance department and drive the firm's financial strategy and operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of financial management, including general and partnership accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, cash management, debt covenant reporting and internal controls.
Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads and senior management to establish financial goals and performance metrics.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making, including revenue forecasting, expense management, and profitability analysis.
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, legal regulations, and industry trends, and make recommendations for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Job Qualifications:
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Aderant, Chrome River) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification preferred.
