Job Responsibilities: • Processes domestic, international, and capital orders; Locates additional sources/options • Provides general Customer Service assistance: order processing, quote requests, sample requests, returns, billing resolution when there is a discrepancy and AP cannot process. • Change Order Processing - updates change orders in SAP • Enters purchasing data into applicable systems; may assists in 3rd party vendor and set-up requests • Serves as a liaison between the internal customer and supplier for product/service sourcing • Provides reporting on material planning, open order, metrics, etc. Assists with VMI processes. • Assists in qualifying new suppliers • Reviews and interprets contracts • Responsible for blanket order set-up and maintenance and compliance • Coordinates material delivery and freight options • Provides audit support as needed • Ensures tasks required for month end/year end are completed timely. • Assists in monitoring supplier performance and giving feedback to Suppliers/Contractors/Project Managers as needed as regard to policy compliance, documentation, support, quotes, performance, invoice audits, etc. • Audits invoice support and reconciliation to purchase orders as needed. • Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues and concerns. • Supporting senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies. • Complying with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. • Additional special tasks or projects as assigned by direct manager.
