As a Client Service Representative, you will work closely with the agent to provide a positive client experience. Your expert communication skill will play an integral role in discussions surrounding policies, payments, underwriting guidelines, and marketing initiatives. You will also aid in new business growth of the agency through cross-selling of multiple product lines and increased retention.
Our Client Service Representatives are generally the first point of contact when a client telephones or enters the agency. You must enjoy working with the public and be compassionate and empathetic to the needs of others.
While state insurance licensure is not required to obtain employment, the job duties and responsibilities rely heavily on one securing their license. Your willingness to become licensed within a specified timeframe will enable you to perform more duties within the agency and would provide a career path with the potential to earn more income.
Responsibilities (but not limited to)
-Determine client needs and expectations, deliver resolution in a timely manner
-Pivot to additional lines of business and secure appointments for agents/sales associates
-Record/report loss information to claims, follow-up to ensure client satisfaction
-Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and follow-up
Secure insurance license within the requested timeframe of the agent
Once the Client Service Representative secures his/her license, candidate must be willing to undergo the appointment process with American National Insurance and submit to a background and credit check.
Additional Responsibilities once licensed & appointed may follow as such:
-Quote and process new business submissions
-Effectively field underwrite and secure quality business for the agency
-Review renewals and prepare proposals for the agent's Professional Insurance Reviews
-Prospect for new business opportunities
Qualification's
High School graduate or equivalent required, college degree preferred. Insurance experience preferred, but not required
Possess the ability to solve complex situations in a professional manner
Proficient in computer operation systems, Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent active listening, interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
