Our challenge
As a Sr Core Java Developer, you will work on writing full unit and integration tests for use cases presented to you, while also improving systems based on best practices and code reviews. You should be passionate about technology, sharing your knowledge, and learning new skills. A background in the banking sector is required.
The Role
Responsibilities:
Working with the team to understand requirements, doing analysis, and coming up with a plan
Participate in the implementation
Developing functionality in an iterative fashion, writing full unit and integration tests for each function that is developed
Continuously improving the quality of our systems and codebase via best practices including code reviews and refactoring where necessary
Be passionate about technology, problem-solving, adapting new skills, and sharing expertise and knowledge!
Excellent client-facing skills that include conducting compelling technical briefings & demonstrations
Having a technical curiosity to implement new technologies and articulate the solutions to stakeholders
Requirements
You are:
Typically 8+ years Development experience
Highly experience in Core Java Application development
Knowledgeable in Java API fundamentals
Kafka experience
Error Handling
Experienced in Spring, springboot, microservices
Spring batch Experienced in Webservices (Rest)
Desired Skills
Financial Services/Banking industry experience - claims experience a plus Solution Delivery Process
