About the Role:

Job Title: Engineering Director

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer stakeholder management with structured governance and feedback mechanism
  • Scope adherence of all projects/ engagements under portfolio
  • Establish engineering processes and governance in all projects
  • 100% quality delivery. zero (Major/critical) bugs on production deployment (meet and exceeds SLA)
  • Contribute in IP/ Accelerator Building (Idea shared Vs potential yield - process optimization, Time/Cost saving - measure by impact to the system)
  • Implementation of automation in service delivery and engineering processes
  • Clearly defined estimation frameworks. Assist presales activities within the portfolio
  • Prepare effort estimation for all proposals under portfolio aligned to organization margin thresholds
  • Identify opportunities with existing clients under portfolio to build pipeline with target revenue growth
  • Revenue retention of all programs under scope with zero cost overruns
  • Hire and manage workforce as needed to deliver the service to clients
  • Resource performance management with well-defined KRA with timely feedback to the team
  • Upskilling and cross skilling of resources as part of career progression.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Should possess deep dive experience within Retail industry/domain along with delivery of Retail solutions to the clients
  • Proven skills designing and developing simple solutions to complex customer challenges.
  • 5+ years' experience in managing large complex program development
  • Strong background and expertise in various platforms and technologies (AWS/Azure, Java/.net, C++, Python, etc.)
  • Played various roles of being technical Lead, Architect, and technology/engineering manager
  • Experience leading and developing highly skilled software engineering teams
  • Experience recruiting software engineers and forming high performing teams
  • Driving efficiencies through innovative approaches in service delivery and software engineering processes

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $160,000 - $190,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions for this position are estimated to be based on individual performance. Additionally, this role is also eligible for bonus based on achievement of mutually agreed KRAs.
