We are looking for an experienced Network Analyst that will help support a Metro Area Network consisting of 23 remote offices utilizing some of the most current networking technologies. Enterprise LAN/WAN consisting of 160 physical and virtual Windows servers supporting over 1000 desktops and laptops in a dynamic and challenging IT department. We utilize the latest Microsoft technologies including Windows 2008R2, Exchange 2010, Windows 7, Hyper-V and many others.
Position Profile
The Network Analyst position supports the operation of the communication networks (LAN, computer/phones, work stations and printers). These functions include network, local and remote hardware installations and support of the data center security administration.

Responsibilities
Provides internal customer service and support.
Ability to perform regular configuration file changes and check log files.
Maintains and enhances professional skills.
Configures and maintains enterprise WAN and LAN environment, including implementation, configuration, coordination, control, maintenance, troubleshooting, usage monitoring, and development of specialized procedures relating to the use of the environment.
Controls network and hardware aspects of clinical and financial systems, as well as office automation systems. Provides management with hardware and software recommendations.
Oversees daily operation of enterprise communications networks including installation and repair of Cisco network equipment, Data Storage systems and Windows 2003/2008 servers using SNMP based management software.
Performs software upgrades for clinical and financial systems, office automation, and payroll systems. Coordinates quarterly upgrades, monthly system patches, etc.
Ensures data security including the planning, design, and implementation of security measures, which safeguard access to enterprise files. In addition, develops and implements network security to include system backups.
Serves as second and third level resource to staff regarding software applications and network questions/ problems; ensures availability of appropriate resources/training.
Develops and exercises disaster recovery process for long-term disaster recovery function of I/S to provide the highest level of protection possible for the enterprise.
Ensures complete documentation of agency network, workstations and related peripheral equipment.
Participates in after hour's on-call rotation for technical support.
Minimum Qualifications
Associates degree preferred with emphasis in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent experience.
3+ years MS Active Directory experience with the ability to create and test group policies and troubleshoot DNS and active directory problems.
3+ years of MS Exchange experience with the ability to manage installations of a MS Exchange environment, ability to perform intermediate exchange troubleshooting including mailbox and message store.
3+ years experience with batch file and windows PowerShell command script language with the ability to provide advanced knowledge of popular backup/restore software and ability to restore stand-alone server.
Working knowledge of CISCO IOS.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications preferred (MCSA, CCNA, MCITP: Server Administrator)
May substitute experience for formal certifications.
Background in a 24/7 environment preferably in a healthcare organization.
Knowledge of VB and scripting.
