Role: Test Manager

Experience 14-18 Years

Location: USA - Danbury, CT

Technical Skills: (Primary)
  • Review Project level Business Requirements, Technical specifications, End to End Business Processes and highlight any gaps or potential improvements.
  • Formulate an effective Test Strategy by coordinating with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Review and sign-off of testing artefacts (Test Plans and Test Summary Reports), liaising with respective project team members.
  • Governance of Quality Assurance and Review related Metrics for Testing
  • Define and deploy defect preventive processes and measures in the respective projects.
  • Assess risks from a testing perspective for respective tracks.
  • Contribute to Value adds and process improvements.
  • Assess projects to incorporate automation, performance and other specialized testing.
  • Support the project team in leveraging testing tools to improve productivity and effectiveness (Test Management, Defect Management, and Test Automation, Performance Testing).
  • Mentoring the team in Test process, Strategy and Governance.
  • Building capability in the team by devising Knowledge paths and facilitating Trainings.
  • Escalation point for Defect Triage Meetings
  • Ensure entry & exit criteria are always met.
  • Review of Test Summary Report.

Technical Skills (Secondary - Nice to have, NOT MANDATORY):
  • Knowledge in automation tools like Selenium, QTP
  • Knowledge of basics performance testing
  • Knowledge of CI CD pipeline integration

Soft Skills
  • As this is an onsite role, must have strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Insurance Domain Knowledge
  • Strong ability to work with client stakeholders.
