Position Description
As an Application Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting applied HVAC equipment selections and ensuring optimal solutions for our clients. Working alongside five other members on the Application Engineering Team, your responsibilities will include increasing the frequency of our represented technology being the basis of design for projects, making equipment selections, and assisting with project pricing and specifications.

Responsibilities
Support and communicate product features, specifications, and application use for applied equipment both internally and externally.
Assist engineering/design-build customers and outside engineering salespeople to provide equipment selections for applied products.
Attend various factory training and industry events as needed.
Input and track 'basis of design' work as well as 'lunch & learn' visits.
Assist outside engineering salespeople in setting up and attending 'lunch & learns'.
Assist in creating presentations and brochures on applied equipment for the company to utilize.
Host, and potentially present, on-site training to customers.
Present on-site training to internal team members and co-workers on various applied equipment, new marketing approaches, and other topics.
Qualifications
Prefer a degree in mechanical engineering.
Prior knowledge within the HVAC industry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Comfortable explaining technical details to others.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working both independently and in teams.
Proficient with Microsoft office and quick to learn new selection programs.
Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
Valid driver's license.
