VP of Engineering Sales - IoT

As the VP of Engineering Sales - IoT, you will take the helm of the engineering sales division to further elevate their market leadership in IoT technologies. Your role will be crucial in strategically identifying customer needs within the telecom and utility sectors and spearheading the development and sales of groundbreaking IoT solutions.

Focus:
  • Engage directly with major telecom and utility clients to identify needs and drive substantial IoT product revenue growth.
  • Lead the expansion of both sales and product teams during phases of rapid organizational growth.
  • Direct the strategic oversight of product management, engineering development, and product line strategies relevant to IoT.
  • Foster and manage customer relationships, ensuring alignment with business objectives and product deliverables.
  • Supervise the architecture and execution of sales strategies, adhering to industry best practices and achieving excellence in delivery.
  • Champion the integration of cutting-edge technologies through research, evaluation, and prototype development to inform strategic direction.
  • Develop and manage budgets across departments, optimizing expenditure and resource utilization.

Skill Set:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; MBA highly advantageous.
  • Over 10 years of experience in leading sales teams aimed at expanding IoT product revenues.
  • At least 5 years of leadership in product management and engineering development, focusing on IoT or similar technological sectors.
  • Proven history of working directly with key players in the telecom and utility sectors to deliver significant product revenue.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% to meet business and client needs.
