General Job Description

The R&D Engineer will play a pivotal role in supporting the production development activities of the company. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and teamwork to ensure successful product development and production processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Product Development
  • Collaborate with the engineering teams to develop new production methods and techniques.
  • Conduct trials and tests to validate new production processes and equipment.
  • Evaluate and optimize existing production processes for efficiency and quality improvement.

2. Project Management
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of production development projects.
  • Develop project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet objectives.

3. Technical Support
  • Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure product quality and compliance with standards.

4.Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Analyze testing data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports on development performance, project status, and recommendations for improvement.

5.Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in production development.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and performance.

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in production development or related role.
  • Strong technical skills with knowledge of production processes, equipment, and technologies.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred/Desired:
  • Experience working in solar module, encapsulant, and backsheet companies and other solar material company.
  • Need to be able to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuously improving environment.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • The ability to make timely decisions and provide feedback to each other.
  • Have a strong desire for personal and professional development.
  • Experience working in the chemical industry, as a development manager, or as an AS or TS worker.
