Working within the newly created US Product Development team, we are seeking a Product Development Engineer to develop new ARB products. As part of our design team, you will be involved in bringing new concepts and ideas to life through design, validation, and documentation. You will be involved in the development process from the initial concept through until release to market. This will include vehicle specific accessories and general accessories with a retail/consumer focus.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Understanding customer requirements and converting them into design briefs
Development of products based on a design brief and agreed timeline
Design and engineer bumpers, recovery points, under vehicle protection, side rails, bed racks, roof racks and cargo management products
Communication with internal stakeholders including product management and manufacturing
Product testing and evaluation
Project documentation
Working with partner suppliers
Other duties as assigned
Experience/Skills:
Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar
At least 5 years of industry experience
Proficiency in 3D CAD (preferably SolidWorks) and mechanical design
Experience in working with suppliers and external manufacturing facilities
Proven experience in new product development with a retail/consumer focus
Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes, particularly sheet metal fabrication
A practical and hands-on approach to the development, fitment and testing of products
An interest in off-roading and outdoor activities highly preferred
