Job Description:

Prolink #resources is partnered with a reputable company looking to add an Industrial Maintenance Tech - Team Lead to their team. This is a 2nd shift position responsible for overseeing 5 technicians. Pay rate is based on experience starting at $33/HR - $37.25/HR. Overtime will be expected. To be considered for team lead role must have prior experience in a leadership role and with an associates degree or additional industrial certifications.

Overview:

Directs team members in assigned manufacturing areas to execute responsibilities efficiently. Supports manufacturing operations, minimizes downtime, increases productivity, and coordinates preventative maintenance activities. Assigns tasks, aiming to achieve company goals and targets following all policies, maintenance standards, safety, quality, productivity, cost reduction, housekeeping, efficiency, training, teamwork, and morale standards.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and collaborate with team members.

- Ensure compliance with company rules, policies, and practices.

- Foster positive team member relations based on mutual trust, dignity, respect, fairness, and teamwork.

- Motivate team members to prioritize safety, quality, efficiency, productivity, cost reduction, and morale.

- Develop standardized work procedures for maintenance tasks.

- Assign and reassign tasks based on current production schedules and needs.

- Implement consistent business practices to maintain effective operations.

- Perform essential job functions as needed to ensure stable operations.

- Support maintenance activities on all production equipment, facilities, and utility systems.

- Ensure continuous production by overseeing the repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment.

- Partner with the manufacturing department to address safety, machine, equipment, and tooling issues.

- Proactively predict and resolve abnormalities.

- Evaluate machinery and equipment, coordinating necessary repairs.

- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

- Train and coach team members in performance, setups, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and maintenance operations.

Must Haves:

- Associate's degree in Maintenance, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.

- Skilled Trades journeyman status or certification from a trade school, technical college, or apprenticeship preferred.

- Minimum three years of relevant maintenance experience.

- Experience with electrical systems, electronics, fabrication, hydraulics, injection molding, mechanical drives, pneumatics, robotics, stamping, welding, assembly, conveyor systems, and PLC programming.

- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

- Automotive industry experience preferred.
