Urgently Seeking a Staff Accountant for a unique career opportunity as a Robert Half Full-Time Engagement Professional. Essentially, we've hired Finance and Accounting Professionals to our staff that we simply loan to clients to conduct business critical or long-term leave engagements.
All of our Professionals receive base pay, are compensated for any overtime, Benefits, 401(k), and are offered a Fortune 500 benefit package, etc. Our projects span anywhere from 3-6 months and most of the time, even longer.
Key responsibilities:
Accounts Payables; Accounts Receivables
Monthly journal entry responsibilities;
Month End Close Procedures;
Bank reconciliations, General Ledger Accounting;
Other balance sheet account reconciliations;
Maintain fixed asset POs and assets,
Back up for Cash application and daily invoicing
Payroll system and conversion
Special assignments in Inventory Accounting, sales tax, property tax, etc.
Requirements:
Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3+ years' general accounting experience.
Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well.
Microsoft Excel Skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Formulas
