Arixa is seeking a Director, Originations (DO), in the Phoenix, AZ market to support the Company's growth and development as one of the leading non-bank real estate lenders in the Western U.S.

Job Description
Summary of Primary Responsibilities:
As a member of the Loan Origination / Sales Team, the DO will report directly to the Phoenix, AZ Managing Director. The DO is responsible to source, originate, structure, and close single family and multi-family real estate transactions in the Phoenix, AZ, market, as well as other markets in which we operate. The DO is also responsible for loan extensions or modifications, when applicable, while partnering to determine a borrower's credit worthiness, ensuring all transactions adhere to our strict credit criteria. The DO will meet with Developers, Builders, Realtors, bankers, etc. to generate, build, and maintain relationships for referrals of clients to Arixa.
Select specific responsibilities include: • Drive loan growth and increase Arixa's market share in the Arizona market while developing a deep base of relationships with new and existing borrowers, ensuring all aspects of the loan process align with Arixa's guidelines. • Negotiate loan terms, structure, and financing options based on credit / risk guidelines, provide financing proposals with comprehensive loan packages for review and consideration by Managing Directors, Credit Committee, and other key stakeholders. • Have ability to source and vet deals in terms of real estate values, borrower financial strength, and borrower experience, to ensure prospective loans meet desired loan metrics. • Remain informed on latest trends, market conditions, and factors impacting real estate lending in the Phoenix, AZ market. • Input structured loan applications and documents into Arixa's CRM platform, reviewing for completeness and accuracy, and monitoring all appropriate milestones are met. This includes working with borrowers and internal teams on loan processing, required documentation, and any supporting materials needed for an accepted loan to navigate through from launch to funding.
Requirements • Degree from a four-year college or university preferred, with an emphasis in Business, Real Estate Finance, or related field. • 5+ years of Single Family, Multi-Family, and Commercial real estate origination experience. • Existing book of business and network of relationships within the Phoenix, AZ private lending market. • Exceptional business acumen, including demonstrated skills in business development, analysis, communication, and presentation skills. • Exceptional ability to compile and analyze data to guide desired outcomes. • Continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to think critically about systems and processes to improve them through ingenuity, hard work and creative thinking. • Maintain strong working relationships with all borrowers, clients, investment professionals, investors, staff, employees, and vendors. • This Phoenix based position requires limited in-office work ensuring close alignment with all Originations and business unit teams.
Compensation
This position is an exempt full-time, with Salary Range: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00, with incentive compensation tied to production and performance.
