This person will play a crucial role in overseeing and supporting the purchasing, selling, and securitization of residential mortgage transactions (RMBS). The role demands a combination of expertise in due diligence, credit and compliance underwriting, securitization, and effective communication with various stakeholders within the residential real estate space.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage the due diligence process for all transactions, and the processes related to the securitized transactions
Perform credit and compliance underwritings over securitization reports
Manage bulk and flow whole loan purchases and sales
Monitor and resolve collateral exceptions
Build and sustain key relationships with both internal and external parties
Qualifications:
8+ years in the mortgage industry with a focus on due diligence, underwriting, and mortgage originations
Knowledge of current mortgage and compliance laws
Experience in overseeing various loan transactions
Ability to work in varied technical applications (advanced Excel skills preferred)
