The Senior Financial Analyst is a highly visible role that has a significant impact by helping the organization manage growth and financial performance. This role provides financial consulting, business partnering, and analytical support to leaders within the organization. This is a hybrid role (2 days in Phoenix office and 3 days from home).

Duties and Responsibilities:
Synthesize and communicate financial and operations data in a clear and concise manner.
Partner with business leaders in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecast processes.
Compare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial results to planned results, explain variances, and make recommendations for future actions.
Participate in the construction and delivery of monthly reporting to our parent company.
Collaborate in the development and presentation of performance metrics and scorecards.
Develop analytical models to evaluate or forecast the performance and profitability of ongoing operations.
Develop analytical models to evaluate the financial benefits of special projects or acquisitions; and support the formation of business cases.
Identify and follow through on opportunities to create process improvements, operational efficiencies, and more meaningful financial analysis and reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited college or university.
5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis roles.
Advanced mastery of Excel, Power BI, (or similar program) and PowerPoint is a requirement.
Proven data-gathering and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and draw accurate conclusions from various types of data.
Strong understanding of how key performance drivers impact financial results.
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
Experience using Epicor or similar ERP systems, Cognos Controller or similar data consolidation and reporting tools, and experience using Power BI or similar data analytics and reporting tools.
Willing to travel occasionally for team meetings, site visits, and company events.
