The Senior Financial Analyst is a highly visible role that has a significant impact by helping the organization manage growth and financial performance. This role provides financial consulting, business partnering, and analytical support to leaders within the organization. This is a hybrid role (2 days in Phoenix office and 3 days from home).

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Synthesize and communicate financial and operations data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Partner with business leaders in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecast processes.
  • Compare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial results to planned results, explain variances, and make recommendations for future actions.
  • Participate in the construction and delivery of monthly reporting to our parent company.
  • Collaborate in the development and presentation of performance metrics and scorecards.
  • Develop analytical models to evaluate or forecast the performance and profitability of ongoing operations.
  • Develop analytical models to evaluate the financial benefits of special projects or acquisitions; and support the formation of business cases.
  • Identify and follow through on opportunities to create process improvements, operational efficiencies, and more meaningful financial analysis and reporting.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited college or university.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis roles.
  • Advanced mastery of Excel, Power BI, (or similar program) and PowerPoint is a requirement.
  • Proven data-gathering and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and draw accurate conclusions from various types of data.
  • Strong understanding of how key performance drivers impact financial results.
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Experience using Epicor or similar ERP systems, Cognos Controller or similar data consolidation and reporting tools, and experience using Power BI or similar data analytics and reporting tools.
  • Willing to travel occasionally for team meetings, site visits, and company events.
