The right candidate for Tax Manager, would possess the following qualities and credentials:
CPA (preferred).
At least 5+ years of experience in public accounting (required).
Ability to lead and manage staff.
Ability to review and prepare tax materials when needed.
Speak to clients confidently and communicatively.
Research and solve tax problems.
Extensive experience in estates and trusts and international taxes for reviewing.
Preparing 1041's, 706's, 709's, 990's, 5471's and gulti calculations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently with clients.
Knowledge of Thomson Reuters' UltraTax and Access (required).
Evaluating insurance claims, economic damages, fraud and fidelity, and forensic animations.
Computer literacy is a must. Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
