This is a hands-on CFO role that will be responsible for accounting, supporting financial planning, modeling, cash-flow forecasting and treasury. The CFO will be hands-on with all accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger to correctly record the business transactions during the month. The CFO will develop and maintain daily and accurate financials and related analysis. This role will evaluate and improve accounting and operational processes while ensuring that practices comply with organization accounting policies and applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
Financial planning, modeling, cash-flow maintenance, and forecasting, assisting in budget assessment, preparing financial and other reports, and researching financial trends, work with vendors to establish credit terms.
Manage the company's financial accounts, payrolls, budget, cash receipts, and financial assets.
Perform HR functions.
Accurately project a borrowing base as a relates to open orders.
Perform the company's financial audits.
Follow proper accounting procedures to reach financial objectives.
Monitor and analyze financial accounting data. Develop a complete cash flow projection for all open sales orders, to include a projection of balance sheet and profit and loss statements based on the projections.
Structure and negotiate executive compensation plans.
Make recommendations to business stakeholders.
Requirements:
Need to be coming from the real estate or hospitality industry
The CFO needs to have the ability and willingness to be hands on with the accounting process including because the accounting department is very small
Ideally the candidate has already been the head of an accounting and finance department, and ideally as a CFO for a company
