LaSalle Network has partnered with one of the most dynamic and innovative manufacturing companies in Vernon Hills, IL, in their search for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in manufacturing finance and be adept at handling complex financial analyses and reporting tasks.
This role is critical in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making processes within the organization. This hybrid position offers a competitive starting salary up to $115,000 plus bonus.
Senior Financial Analyst Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage monthly consolidated bank reporting, including borrowing base calculations and fixed charge coverage calculations
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all reporting in compliance with financial policies and standards
Develop and maintain weekly consolidated cash forecasting models
Provide detailed commentary and insights on weekly changes in cash flow to aid management in strategic planning
Lead and implement accounting process automation projects to enhance operational efficiency
Identify opportunities for process improvements and develop strategies to address these areas
Identify bottlenecks within the accounting department
Create and maintain dashboards or new reports to streamline processes and improve departmental efficiency
Develop exception reporting mechanisms to strengthen internal controls
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Conduct thorough analyses of gross margins and other key financial metrics for monthly financial bridge reporting
Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support business objectives
Develop and implement predictive financial metrics to assist in the proactive management of the business
Utilize advanced financial modeling techniques to forecast future financial performance and trends
Senior Financial Analyst Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the manufacturing industry
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting and variance analysis
Experience with accounting process automation and data visualization tools
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
