Our client, automätik, is a unique Phoenix-based company looking for unique individuals. Automatik is a "top of our class" provider of design, training, production, and event management services to our clients within the automotive industry. Key clients include BMW, Toyota, Lexus, Volkswagen, Kia, and more!

This is an exciting opportunity for a media or film student to learn hands on digital editing as a Video Editor / Digital Asset Coordinator. The position will start out part-time with a strong chance that it will turn into a full time position.

Must live in the Phoenix area and be willing to work onsite. Valid drivers license required.

Job Summary

In this position you will be responsible for managing digital media assets, mainly in the form of video footage. This role will start out on an hourly and part-time basis with a high probability of becoming full time and possible Jr Media Developer. Ideal opportunity for a college student nearing graduation in media or film.

Role Responsibilities

Digital Video Organization:
  • Sort video files received from clients and Creative department as they relate to specific programs and clients.
  • Back up footage to local server.
  • Open and render down large video files, label and post for Creative department reference and usage callout.
  • Manage digital assets within project folders on Frame i/o platform.
  • Monitor and archive local NAS server, removing old files to external hard drive for label and storage.

Project Support:
  • Work with the project team to call out and create "line edit" versions of footage that comes through our timelines, communicate the edit form, and relay to the content team.
  • Support Media Producer on simple video and/or audio edits as needed and by project.

Virtual Event Production Assistance:
  • Work with Media Producer to research new and innovative ways to improve our company's virtual event procedures and protocols.
  • Develop strategies for streamlining audio and visual assets into each of our projects.
  • Research and procure the hardware necessary to implement digital storage needs.

Required Education & Experience:
  • Active hands-on experience with Mac or PC Adobe Premiere
  • Adobe Premiere Pro experience highly preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite - PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • General working knowledge of virtual platforms that include Teams and Zoom
  • A service mentality, both with co-workers and clients
  • Envelope-pushing creativity (we rarely do the same thing twice)
  • Propensity for problem-solving and critical thinking
  • The ability to rapidly assimilate new skills and software proficiency
  • Willingness to flex personally to meet sudden and/or tight client deadlines
  • Valid Arizona drivers license with clean driving record required.
