The Sr. Analyst, Customer Insights works closely with Hain's Walmart Account Team to monitor brand & category performance & competitive activity. This role collaborates with Sales, Marketing & Category Managers to develop & communicate fact-based analysis & insights to support Hain's category solutions & meet topline sales objectives.
The Sr. Analyst, Customer Insights supports Hain's Walmart Account Team by using syndicated data, shopper card data, and other insights to identify opportunities, influence the customer, and drive profitable topline growth.
Responsibilities
Support Hain's largest account by providing best-in-class category support for Hain brands/categories.
Provide weekly & monthly reports and analytical support for Hain's Walmart Account Team.
Interpret syndicated and POS data, along with shopper and consumer research and emerging trends, to build category reviews and make fact-based assortment, merchandising, pricing, and promotion recommendations to drive category growth.
Must be able to connect the dots in analysis to offer foresight as well as insight.
Understand the national Hain category strategy and tailor solutions for Walmart & Sam's Club.
Leverage insights and resources through the utilization of a broad range of data sources (Luminate, Circana, Spins, Consumer Panel) to develop strategies & merchandising recommendations for Walmart & Sam's Club.
Synthesize information and insights into selling story, category, and business reviews.
Deliver category insights to Walmart & Sam's Club to build partnerships and grow our core categories.
Complete customer category review process utilizing category analysis, shopper insights & other available analytic tools.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree
2 years combined practical experience in category management, shopper insights and working with syndicated data.
Strong working knowledge of syndicated data (Nielsen, Spins, Circana).
Advanced Excel & PowerPoint Skills
Knowledge of Space Planning software such as Apollo or Pro Space is a plus.
