An RBTL® Production & Fulfillment Specialist possesses a true love for product creation, organization and bringing people joy! They excel at multi-tasking, work well as part of a team, have wonderful attention to detail and are passionate about our products and services.
What It's All About
Assembling and packaging our products (including paper goods, apparel and more) with care. Does a pretty package on your doorstep make your day? Would a perfectly folded sweatshirt make you smile inside? Can a perfect gift wrap give you goose bumps? Right on!
Mixing and pouring candles and fragrance diffusers with accuracy and care (fragrance is both recipe and science! : )
Developing and testing new products
Communicating with current and potential vendors; requesting product samples
Ordering and maintaining supplies for production within allotted budgets
Ordering and maintaining inventory of store and studio supplies
Managing physical product inventory, rectifying discrepancies and communicating reorder needs to team
Overseeing organization of studio and off-site storage unit
Researching and implementing processes to increase efficiency, quality and profitability
Fulfilling retail and wholesale orders with a sense of urgency and great care, so that a customer's order and unboxing experiences are always joyful
Communicating professionally and warmly with our clients via phone and email, typically in assisting with order follow-ups
Representing our company's values in all interactions with our internal team, external clients and vendor partners
Supporting the sales floor team as needed by providing a warm and personal customer experience, sharing product knowledge and providing gift wrap services
Taking excellent care of our customers and your fellow Team members via respect, friendliness, thoughtful communication, presuming the best, showing empathy and encouragement
Straightening and restocking the sales floor throughout the day
Assisting with opening and closing procedures

Be comfortable working before the public (both your desk and the candle pouring table are in front of a large window that looks into the store - it's imperative you feel joy in your work and are comfortable smiling at strangers young and old who may watch your work for a moment, fascinated by what you're doing and creating, and in seeing a small business in action)
Creativity - a love for making things (and making them better/smarter)
A love for home fragrance (and fragrance in general)
A discerning taste and interest in developing new fragrances and stand-out, must-have products
Excellent communication skills - verbal (in-person, phone, Zoom) and written
A passion for detail and high quality (a healthy kind of OCD : )
A love for researching solutions, and reasonable comfort with presenting your ideas
Experience in brick-and-mortar retail customer service is preferred - you'll be helping out on the sales floor from time to time (particularly during peak seasons), and serving customers with your incredible product knowledge and warm spirit must sound like a fun proposition
Online retail experience is a plus, however, not necessary
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including frequent weekends
Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and effectively maneuver around our shop and studio; this may include repetitive bending, climbing, twisting and lifting of up to 50 pounds
