This is a hands-on role where you will lead technical operations across various domains, including IT support, helpdesk, service management, virtualization, M365, networking, servers, procurement, and IT security. Key Responsibilities:
Technical Operations Leadership: Oversee all aspects of IT support, helpdesk, service management, virtualization, M365, procurement, networking, servers, and security to ensure seamless operations across multiple locations.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement infrastructure strategies that align with the company's growth objectives and technological advancements.
Hands-On Management: Engage directly in day-to-day technical operations, providing guidance and support to the IT team to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
Service Orientation: Foster a service-oriented culture, ensuring that all technical services meet or exceed the expectations of internal and external stakeholders.
Team Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of IT professionals, encouraging continuous learning and professional development.
Procurement and Vendor Management: Oversee procurement processes and manage relationships with vendors to secure the best services and products at competitive prices.
Security Oversight: Ensure robust security measures are in place to protect the company's data and infrastructure from potential threats.

This is a remote position, although you will be required to travel to office sites from time to time, and our client has a preference for candidates located in and around Chicago.
