Job Summary: The IT Infrastructure Specialist will design, implement, and maintain servers, network devices, and firewalls, working closely with IT and business teams. This role includes managing operational tasks such as user support, system monitoring, patching, backups, and troubleshooting, ensuring IT systems are compliant and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, configure, and maintain servers, network devices, and firewalls.
  • Provide end-user support and manage system break-fix issues.
  • Monitor IT systems, perform patch management, and handle backups and recovery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, managing change control and CAPA processes.
  • Handle Tier 2/3 escalation issues with effective communication with users and service providers.
  • Administer core technologies: Linux, Microsoft, Cisco, and VMware.
  • Manage AWS hybrid cloud environment: EC2, VPC, ELB, RDS, S3.
  • Support M365 systems: Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, including Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery systems, ensuring data retention and regular testing.
  • Ensure IT systems comply with cybersecurity and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and maintain IT documentation, including SOPs, user guides, and training materials.
  • Provide technology training and presentations to staff and partners.
  • Oversee the SDLC for IT systems, including on-premise, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Compliance teams to support system validation and execute test scripts.
  • Support data integrity processes for IT systems and lab workstations.
  • Undertake additional projects and assignments as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with IT systems administration, including Linux, Microsoft, Cisco, and VMware.
  • Expertise in AWS and M365 systems.
  • Knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery systems.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience with Tier 2/3 support.
  • Ability to create and maintain detailed IT documentation.
  • Strong communication and training skills.
  • Experience managing IT systems' SDLC and ensuring data integrity.
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
