The Network Engineer, reporting to the Manager of Network Operations, is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining all network technology systems within the Enterprise IT Department, encompassing both on-premises and cloud technologies. This role includes managing daily operations such as installation, maintenance, patching, and troubleshooting of network hardware and software systems. Additionally, the Network Engineer participates in technical design and implementation projects, serves as an escalation point for technical issues, and collaborates with team members to develop standards and procedures.
Responsibilities
Receive, document, and resolve support requests.
Provide professional support to end users and escalate issues as needed.
Monitor and maintain network hardware and software systems.
Develop and execute technology projects.
Participate in budget planning and change management processes.
Collaborate with IT team members and external vendors.
Maintain documentation for procedures, installations, and projects.
Adhere to company and departmental policies.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 4 years in IT support or technical environment.
Minimum 2 years in Network Engineering or related field.
Relevant certifications preferred.
Experience in a decentralized multi-site organization is a plus.
Strong technical skills in network infrastructure implementation and support.
Ability to learn new technologies and provide effective solutions.
Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
