Job Description:
We are seeking an accomplished Principal DevOps Engineer to lead the development and implementation of a cutting-edge DevOps architecture on AWS, specifically with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS). In this role, you will architect a greenfield DevOps solution and play a critical role in shaping the DevOps strategy for our entire organization. Your enterprise experience will be pivotal in creating a robust and scalable infrastructure to support our AI-driven healthtech platform.
Key Responsibilities:
DevOps Architecture:
- Architect, design, and implement an advanced DevOps solution on AWS, with a primary focus on EKS and Kubernetes.
- Create a scalable, efficient, and highly available infrastructure to support our healthtech platform.
Software Development:
- Develop expert-level, maintainable, and efficient code in Python, Golang, etc to support the DevOps architecture.
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance and optimize applications for seamless deployment.
DevOps Strategy:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and drive the DevOps strategy for the entire organization.
- Identify and implement best practices for CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code.
Greenfield Solution:
- Lead the development of a greenfield DevOps solution, taking ownership of the entire architecture and infrastructure.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate DevOps strategies and progress to senior leadership.
Mentorship:
- Provide mentorship and guidance to DevOps team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in architecting and implementing DevOps solutions on AWS, with a specific focus on EKS and Kubernetes.
- Expert-level Golang development skills.
- Strong background in infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
- Proven experience in shaping DevOps strategy for an organization.
- Outstanding problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Prior experience in healthtech is advantageous, but not mandatory.
